1. What FAQlue does

FAQlue is an embeddable FAQ widget for websites. It displays your frequently asked questions, tracks which ones visitors click most, reorders them automatically, and accepts question suggestions from visitors. You add one script tag to your site. We handle the rest.

2. Your FAQ and your email address

There is no account, dashboard or password. Your FAQ is linked to the email address you give us: new questions reach you there, and your replies from that address (YES, NO or your own answer) decide what goes live. Keep that mailbox secure, because a reply from it counts as your approval.

One subscription per business. Don't share your embed code with a separate business.

3. Plans & billing

FAQlue (EUR 49/month excl. VAT; customers who subscribe before Black Friday, 27 November 2026 pay EUR 29/month excl. VAT for as long as their subscription runs): one FAQ for your whole site, unlimited questions, search, smart ordering, custom styling.

Extra FAQ (EUR 19/month each): another set of questions for a second site, brand or product line. The same FAQ can be shown on any number of pages at no extra cost.

Initial writing (optional, quoted per site, excl. VAT): we research and write answers for one website and five agreed question themes. Scope, sources, revisions, delivery date and price are agreed in writing before payment. It is separate from your subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

You can cancel anytime. Your FAQ stays active until the end of your billing period.

4. What happens when you cancel

When your subscription ends, your embed code stops working. The widget will no longer display FAQ content on your site. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe, then permanently deleted.

The script tag on your site becomes inert - it won't break your site, it just won't show anything.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use FAQlue to:

  • Display illegal, harmful, or misleading content
  • Spam visitors or collect personal data through the suggestion feature
  • Reverse-engineer the widget or API
  • Resell or redistribute the service
  • Overload the service with automated requests

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your data

You own your FAQ content. We display it through the widget, but the questions and answers are yours.

You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us.

7. The widget on your site

The FAQlue widget loads a small JavaScript file (about 5KB) on your site. It runs in a Shadow DOM and does not interfere with your existing styles or scripts.

The widget makes API calls to our servers to fetch FAQ content and track interactions. These calls are made over HTTPS.

You are responsible for informing your visitors that the FAQ widget is powered by FAQlue, which the "Powered by FAQlue" link at the bottom of the widget handles.

8. Availability & liability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee 100% availability. The service is provided "as is."

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for lost revenue, data loss, or other indirect damages.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts.
